The Drama

Watched ’the Drama’ this afternoon.

I won’t give away ’the big twist’, although it happens fairly early on in the movie.

It starts off as a meet cute ’typical romance film’ and ends as a more realistic take on the two people sharing their intimate inner worlds with each other.

As pointed out by my sister after discussing it, it was ‘Emma’ (Zendaya) who was the most empathetic person in the movie. She was the one who always made the attempt to restart.

Charlie on the other hand was seeking external validation (asking friends etc what to do). He felt immature and lacked genuine self understanding.
